some information about this committee: ·
Maintain
the databases and profiles of PSG members (networking database, profiles
[Word document], Geocities web pages). ·
Provide
computer-based assistance to other committees. ·
Maintain
and expand computer resources as a tool to help PSG membership seek and
secure employment. ·
Assist
the Facilitator in the preparation of administrative procedures, and assist
in executing and/or communicating them. ·
Serve as
alternate "Moderators" for administering the PSG Neptune Yahoo
Group. ·
Prepare
and maintain a New Member Package which gives instructions for joining the
PSG Neptune Yahoo Group, preparing profiles, and posting resumes. ·
Propose
ideas for the betterment of the PSG to attain their goals. Charter
of Operation Organization: Moderator
– Has responsibility and authority for this and all committees. The
moderator is a NJ DOL employee and approves all committee activities. Chairperson
– Conducts formal meetings, reconciles all issues in the committee, presents
the Committee report to the Moderator, Convenes and chairs all Committee
Principal meetings. The Chairperson shall be entrusted with security to
access and maintain databases and assume this responsibility. The
authority and responsibility may be delegated with the approval of the
moderator. Leader
–Serves as 2nd in authority for activities in the committee
assuming the Chairperson duties when necessary. Presents the committee
report to the PSG group, plans and executes the committee activities.
Ensures the objectives of the committee are planned and executed to achieve
maximum fulfillment. Administrator
– Serves as 3rd in authority. Records and Collects
information relative to members’ activities and participation within the
group such as the committee Roster, attendance and committee tasks. Members
– serve to participate and execute activities agreed to by the committee to
advance the purpose of the group. Scope of Operation: The
scope of the Computer/Administration Committee shall be to contact PSG
membership and communicate information as set forth and/or approved by the
moderator. The Computer branch of this committee shall maintain the
data bases and profiles of PSG members. This committee shall assist the
Moderator in the preparation of administrative procedure and assist in
executing and/or communicating them. Purpose: The
purpose of the Computer/Administration Committee is to: ·
Maintain
as current all information acquired and published on Computer facilities
represented by the Neptune PSG. ·
Develop
a refined methodology that can be transcribed as a guide to assist
Computer/Administration Committee members. ·
Propose
programs and modifications that will aid or assist the Moderator and PSG to
procure a job. ·
Report
on the progress and effectiveness of the Computer/Administration Committee
within the PSG group to PSG membership. Objective: The
objective of the Computer/Administration Committee is to: ·
Maintain

Assist
in the Administrative functions of the PSG as identified by the Moderator. ·

ideas for the betterment of the PSG to attain their goals. Plan: PSG
Computer/Administration Committee members will: ·
Maintain
various databases for the PSG information. Amongst them shall be the
PSG member profiles. ·
Provide
computer-based assistance to other committees. ·
Assist
in the Administrative functions of the PSG as identified by the Moderator. ·
Make
progress report of activities and initiatives to the PSG group. ·
The
Principals at their first meeting shall review and revise this document. Meetings: Computer/Administration
Committee shall meet monthly on the first Monday of the month. The
Agenda shall be: Attendance, Old business, welcome of new committee members
and general PSG members, Review of Computer/Administration assignments and
new assignments, Communication of Computer/Administration information
received, Other Computer/Administration activities, Plans for next meeting,
Summary, Dismissal. Computer/Administration
Committee Principals shall meet as determined at least monthly. Principals
shall discuss and review plans, progress, reports and address member
activities, events, initiatives, document or charter changes, personnel and
assignments. Reports: A
monthly report shall include a summarization of Findings, Actions, and
Adherence to plans, accomplishments and New Plans. Comment: The
Principals and Computer/Administration shall periodically review this outline
and make affirmations and modifications on a semi-annual basis. |
