Review Committee Here's
some information about this committee: ·
Review the
PSG member’s resumé in a public forum of committee members and provide
feedback to the PSG member about the content, structure, format, and
components of the document. ·
Constructive
criticism shall be provided at the review with no requirements upon the
submitter to make changes or modifications. Comments shall be verbal only.
Additionally, the intent of the critique is to provide the submitter with
different views about the content and perception of the resume. ·
Furthermore,
the Resumé Review Committee should follow-up and collect exemplary resumé’s
as a sample of successful presentations. Charter
of Operation Organization: Chairperson
– Conducts formal meetings, reconciles all issues in the committee, presents
the Committee report to the Moderator, Convenes and chairs all Committee
Principal meetings. Leader
–Serves as 2nd in authority for activities in the committee
assuming the Chairperson duties when necessary. Presents the committee
report to the PSG group, plans and executes the committee activities. Ensures
the objectives of the committee are planned and executed to achieve maximum
fulfillment. Administrator
– Serves as 3rd in authority. Records and Collects
information relative to members’ activities and participation within the
group such as the committee Roster, attendance and committee tasks. Members
– Serve to participate and execute activities agreed to by the committee to
advance the purpose of the group. Scope of Operation: The
scope of the Resumé Review Committee shall be to research and execute a
review of PSG membership resumes on a voluntary basis. This scope shall
include inquiries from other organizations and professionals for information
that will assist the membership in meeting its objectives. Purpose: The
purpose of the Resumé Review Committee is to: ·
Help PSG
members develop an effective written presentation of their skill and
experience. ·
Review
PSG member Resumé[s]. ·
Comment
about the organization and presentation of information or lack thereof on
individual Resumés based upon personal perspective, published criterion, and
industry preferences. ·
Research
retained search, contingency, corporate, and published information related to
effective written presentation of skill and experience in acquiring a job
interview. ·
Provide
beneficial feedback to resume submitters that might help the individual
seeking comments to improve the presentation. Objective: The
objective of the Resumé Review Committee is to: ·
Review
the PSG members resume in a public forum of three or more members or if
acceptable by the member in private and provide feedback to the PSG member
about the content, structure, format, and components of the document. ·
Constructive
criticism shall be provided for the submission with no requirements upon the submitter
to make changes or modifications. Comments shall be verbal only. ·
Additionally,
the intent of the critique is to provide the submitter with different views
about the content and perception of the resume and also for the committee to
acquire an appreciation of the presentation by the submitter to share with
the PSG group. ·
Furthermore,
the Resumé Review Committee should follow-up and collect Resumé’s that work
as a sample of successful presentations. Plan: PSG
members shall be asked to submit copies of their Resumé [s] for constructive
critique a scheduled review meeting by the Resumé Review Committee.
Members should comment upon the following:
Meetings: Resumé
Review Committee shall meet semi-monthly on the second and fourth Tuesday of
the month. The
Agenda shall be: Attendance, Old business, Distribution and Review of
Resumes, Membership activities, Plans for next meeting, Summary, Dismissal. Resumé
Review Committee Principals shall meet as determined at least monthly. Principals
shall discuss and review plans, progress, reports and address member
activities, events, initiatives, document or charter changes, personnel and
assignments. Reports: A
monthly report shall include a summarization of Findings, Actions , Adherence
to plans, accomplishments and Plans. Comment: The
Principals and membership shall periodically review this outline and make
affirmations and modifications on a semi-annual basis. |
